3 peaks challenge 2018
Congratulations to all those that took part in the National 3 Peaks Challenge on the weekend of 14 – 16 Sep 2018.
Unfortunately the weather was against us with 70 mph winds battering the team on the summit of Scafell Pike and equally bad weather on Snowdon, which meant that the challenge could not be completed due to safety. However, it was a fantastic weekend which got to the heart of the FWC objectives; overcoming adversity, forging the community together and inspiring many to achieve more than they thought possible.

The event also raised over £1000 for the Royal British Legion’s Thank You 100 campaign which commemorates a century since the First World War ended and says 'Thank You' to all who served, sacrificed and changed our world.
