Mountain biking challenge
Loch Ness 360
15-17 September 2023
In September 2023 a group of 8 FWC ladies will take on a 3 day Mountain biking challenge on electric mountain bikes. With day 1 being a training day to polish your cycling skills, ready for a 2 day expedition cycling around the iconic Loch Ness with an overnight stop in Fort Augustus. This expedition will be challenging, but most definitely rewarding, with out-of-this-world views, a visit to Dores Beach on the banks of Loch Ness, and plenty of chances to spot something mysterious in the deep waters!
A total of 80 miles will be covered over the 2 days, with over 3000 metres of ascent. Using e-bikes means that riders can chose if and when they might need a bit of assistance.
