FW100 pen y fan climb

Join us for our 5th annual event!

We are pleased to share our rescheduled date for our Pen Y Fan event, after postponing from 17th September 2022, due to the sad passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II.

We will now be climbing the infamous Pen Y Fan on Sunday 9th October 2022.

This event is about sharing the experience together, making new friendships and supporting each other to get to the summit, so we plan to walk the route in a large group.

All abilities are welcome, so whether you have never climbed a mountain before or you're a seasoned pro we would absolutely LOVE you to join us!

This year’s event will raise money for Royal Star & Garter. A charity that provides loving, compassionate care to veterans and their partners living with disability or dementia.

Cost - £15 entry fee (price includes a swanky FWC T-shirt with new 2022 design).

Timings - Meet at Pont ar Daf car park (LD3 8NL) for registration at 09:30am on Sunday 9th October 2022. Event should be completed by approx 13.30pm.

Participation - This event is for FWC members - if you haven’t signed up to FWC previously please do so here.

Insurance - All participants are strongly encouraged to take out their own personal accident insurance. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure security, safety and reduce risk, it is impossible to eliminate all risk and therefore FWC cannot be held responsible for any personal injury/illness, loss of and/or damage to kit or equipment that may occur during the event.

Prior to the event an online Accident Waiver will need to be signed. If you haven’t signed one previously, this will be emailed to you ahead of the event.

Kit List - Full kit list will be sent across by email on booking.

Cancellation - The entry fee is non-refundable.

Transfers - It is possible to transfer to another FWC member but the organisers must be informed by emailing info@forceswiveschallenge.org
Event cancellation - Due to the nature of the event, it is possible that it may need to be cancelled/postponed at any point due to factors such as weather/injury/safety. Sadly FWC cannot offer refunds in these instances.
