THE FWC ADVENTURE ACADEMY IS LOOKING FOR OUR NEXT TRAINEE Lowland LEADERS!

Applications will be open from 24th April - 9th May 2025 and will be scored against the following set of desired qualities by the FWC Adventure Approval Committee:

Committed to FWC & shows understanding of our ethos
Committed to Lowland Leader training
Good experience of lowland walking
Leadership/teamwork experience and the required personal skills
Resilience/capacity for the course and the required preparation

Depending on the number and the strength of the applications, we may need to conduct informal online interviews. If required, these are likely to take place between 2nd- 5th June.

Applicants will be informed around 6th June whether they have been successful and will then have 5 days to accept their place and make a non-refundable deposit of £60.

Completing the Lowland Leader award and logging the necessary walks is time-consuming. Please describe how you intend to prepare for the course and ensure all the required QLDs are completed
