Woodland Experiences - Cumbria

Following the success of our last two Woodland Experiences camping weekends, we are returning to the beautiful Cumbrian countryside for what is sure to be another fantastic weekend filled with fun, laughter and friendship 🤗

The weekend is delivered by Woodland Experiences CIC who share our passion for adventure and the belief that being in nature is good for the soul 💚

DO I HAVE TO BE A FWC MEMBER TO APPLY?

Yes, to apply to participate in this challenge, you have to be a member of FWC. The membership policy can be found HERE. If you are a female with a partner (spouse or long-term partner) in the armed forces (either serving or a veteran) and are not yet a member, please sign up HERE prior to applying for the challenge.

HOW WILL PARTICIPANTS BE SELECTED FOR THE CHALLENGE?

Allocation of places is on a first-come-first-served basis. To apply to take part in this challenge, please do so using the form on this PAGE.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING ON THE WEEKEND?

Activities are TBC and weather-dependent but a selection will be available including: Fire lighting, axe-throwing, target shooting, canoeing, walking. The key is that it is super relaxed and totally flexible - the aim is that you make new friendships and leave refreshed, calm and ready for whatever life throws at you next!

HOW MUCH WILL THE DAY COST?

There is a cost of £85 per person, with a £45 non-refundable deposit to be paid within 5 days of being offered a place, and the remaining £40 to be paid 4 weeks prior to the event.
